Bear Swamp Farm | West Milford

Bear Swamp Farm is a small Christmas tree farm, and has been owned and operated by the same family for more than fifty years. Between the 10-acre plantation and the Christmas shop located in the 75-year-old log barn, the holidays are always special here. You can choose between cutting down your own tree or purchasing a pre-cut one. In addition to trees, the Bear Swamp team makes and sells hand-made fresh garland, wreaths, and bundles of fresh-cut boughs.

City Green, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to facilitating the establishment of urban community, youth, and school gardens in northern New Jersey’s cities to enrich the lives of inner city residents, while cultivating education in public health, nutrition, and the environment. City Green offers practical, technical, and financial support to community members of all ages to design, create, and manage these urban green spaces. City Green also promotes social justice and environmental equality through these greening efforts.

Farms View | Wayne

Farms View offers something for every season: fresh produce, a wide range of plants, gardening supplies, specialty food items, gifts, and more. Fall visitors can enjoy hayrides to the pumpkin patch plus a wide selection of pre-picked pumpkins, mums, and fall decor. Winter visitors shop Christmas trees, wreaths, grave blankets, gift baskets, gifts, and other decorations. Guests are also welcome to meet with barnyard animals when available.

Hazelman Farms | West Milford

Hazelman Farms was founded on a small family farm and computer workshop in an effort to improve crop and technological outputs. Today the Hazelman family owns and manages 70 acres of mixed wooded and field crop areas. Guests are welcome to learn about the farm’s environmental protection efforts and shop its farm stand. Hazelman Farms produces fresh crops, seasonal produce, maple syrup, and pasture-raised chicken eggs.

Humor Me Farm | West Milford

Humor Me Farm is a small farm that specializes in alpaca and angora fiber products, as well as the breeding of English and French angora rabbits. Alpaca and angora fiber fashions, show champion English and French angora rabbit livestock, and fresh organic pasture-raised chicken and duck eggs are popular products available for purchase.

Richfield Farms and Garden Center | Clifton

Richfield Farms is a family farm and garden center that was established in 1917. Customers can peruse through five active acres of fields, shrubs, trees, perennials, herbs, and annuals, as well as a complete garden shop with fertilizers, organic fertilizers, mulches, insecticides, and organic insecticides. Shop the seasonal gift store, complete with a full line of pottery, statuary, and garden art. Master gardeners are available on staff to assist with garden needs. The on-site petting zoo keeps children of all ages entertained.

Two Pond Farm | West Milford

Two Pond Farm is a small farm located in the rocky highlands of northern Passaic County, with gardens and pastures situated on the few tillable areas between massive rock ledges. Still, it’s been an organic vegetable farm since 1976, and is home to approximately 100 laying hens for eggs. The team breeds and raises a small flock of Dorset and Romney sheep for lamb and wool. During the summer, they even raise chicken and pigs. Guests can shop here, and partake in organic vegetable gardening and farming lectures and workshops.
