Camp Hope

Camp Hope, a beautiful 62-acre wooded retreat located on the shores of Greenwood Lake, buzzes year-round with activity. Each year, the camp entertains children and senior citizens from throughout the county. During the months of July and August, summer camps in Passaic County enroll in Camp Hope day trips for children 6- to 13-years-of-age at no charge. Camp Hope introduces children to natural and scenic open spaces.

From September to June, Camp Hope offers day trips for senior citizen groups within Passaic County at a nominal fee. Transportation is provided to and from Camp Hope. Attendees can take a walk around the scenic grounds, take a ride to the nearby farm (weather permitting), play bocce and bingo, dance, and enjoy live entertainment. Breakfast, lunch, and dessert are all included and prepared by the Camp Hope staff. Please register at least one month in advance to guarantee availability.

Plus, on Tuesdays in September through June, Camp Hope is open to all from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for activities that include bingo. Light breakfasts and lunches are served. Transportation is not provided, and a nominal free is required. Registration is not required.
